On Oct. 16, 2024 Mass DEP received King’s Grant Water’s Co. request for approval to release a statement that our system has no service lines of Lead, Galvanized Requiring Replacement (GRR) or unknown materials. This statement is based on the results of a service line inventory that was developed using the following verification methods: Field inspection by KGW, records review, and sequential monitoring. King’s Grant Water oversaw installation and performed maintenance of all mains and service line in our system from 1964 to 2024. There are NO lead mains or service lines and never have been.
